The appointment concludes with a reassessment and personalized home-care recommendations, which may include stretches, mobility exercises, posture or movement tips, and guidance on the use of heat or ice to support ongoing relief and recovery.

Your initial massage appointment at La Pae Massage Therapy is designed to provide a thorough, personalized, and therapeutic experience tailored to your individual needs.
This first visit includes a comprehensive health intake and assessment conducted by a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT). 

We will review your medical history, current concerns, areas of discomfort, and treatment goals to ensure your care is safe, effective, and appropriate. Based on this assessment, a customized treatment plan will be developed to address pain, tension, injury, postural imbalances, or general wellness needs.

The massage treatment may incorporate a variety of techniques depending on your goals, including therapeutic, deep tissue, relaxation, or targeted clinical work. Education and self-care recommendations may also be provided to support ongoing improvement between sessions.

This appointment is required for all new clients and establishes the foundation for future treatments, ensuring continuity of care and optimal outcomes.

Follow-up massage appointments are designed to build on your initial assessment and support your progressive treatment plan. These sessions involve a brief check-in to review your response to previous treatments, any changes in symptoms, and current goals.

With less time spent on assessment and history, the focus shifts to targeted, results-driven treatment based on your established plan of care. Techniques and pressure are adjusted as needed to continue improving mobility, reducing pain, and supporting recovery.

Each session includes ongoing reassessment and updated home-care recommendations, such as stretches, strengthening or mobility exercises, and guidance on heat or ice use to reinforce treatment outcomes between visits

Long-Term preventative care appointments are intended for clients who have completed their initial follow treatments and are transition into ongoing maintenance care. These sessions focus on preserving progress, preventing the recurrence of symptoms, and supporting long-term physical well-being.

Treatment is tailored to your established history, movement patterns, and lifestyle demands, with emphasis on maintaining tissue health, mobility, and balanced muscle function. Rather than addressing acute issues, the session targets areas prone to recurring tension or restriction to help reduce the risk of the future discomfort or injury.

These appointments are typically recommended approximately once per month, depending on individual needs and activity levels. Brief chick-ins and ongoing reassessment ensure care reminds aligned with your long-term goals, with updated home-care recommendations provided as needed to support consistency between visits and promote sustainable results.
